For the moment the old words return. On your phone, take a screenshot so it is in your photos. On a computer, print it or save it as a PDF.
When The Old Label Returns
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”John 1:12 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Pause. A hard moment has happened.
Read. Open John 1:9–13 and 2 Corinthians 5:14–21 in your own Bible. Read the verses around them.
Notice. What happened is not the same as the label you are repeating. Notice what the passage says about receiving Christ and becoming children of God.
Act. Choose an ordinary next step that fits what you read.
A friend’s milestone does not decide your belonging in Christ.
Scripture quoted from the King James Version. The steps are reading prompts, not a promise that a feeling will disappear.
